Mission: To provide a rotating exhibition space for local artists who have participated in the Utah Arts Festival and to introduce emerging artists to the public while familiarizing them with the Gallery and Festival experience.
The Utah Arts Festival produces the art gallery in Artspace City Center, 230 South 500 West, Suite 120. The mission of the gallery is to provide additional exposure to Utah artists who have participated with the Festival and to support the work of emerging artists in the community
Matthew Jacobson is the curator of galleryuaf and is also the Artists Marketplace Coordinator for the annual festival. Applications to show at galleryuaf.org are accepted each summer.
The gallery is open Monday thru Friday from 10am-5pm and during Gallery Stroll – the third Friday of the month from 6pm to 9pm.
Galleryuaf is located in Artspace City Center along with the following galleries: Art Access, Bad Dog Rediscovers America, Black Mountain Gemstone Jewelry, Tanner Frames, Linda Dalton Walker Fine Art, Steven K. Sheffield, Blue Crithfield and Eric Houston, A Gift to Africa, Darren Young Artworks and the New West Studio featuring Leslie Thomas and Mark Knudsen.
