Composer Commissions Application

The Utah Arts Festival is accepting applications for the 2010 Commission for Orchestra and 2010 Commission for Chamber Ensemble. The works to be commissioned will be 8 – 12 minute works for chamber orchestra and six-piece chamber ensemble, respectively.

Commission for Orchestra

The award will be $7,500. The work will premiere at the 2010 Utah Arts Festival, performed by the Utah Arts Festival Orchestra, under the Artistic Direction of Andrew Rindfleisch.

Commission for Chamber Ensemble

The award will be $3,000. The work will premiere at the 2010 Utah Arts Festival, performed by the Utah Arts Festival Chamber Ensemble, under the Artistic Direction of Andrew Rindfleisch.
