Mayor's Artists Awards
Now Accepting Nominations: Due Friday, March 5, 2010
Presented by the Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office and the Utah Arts Festival
The Mayor's Office honors the contributions artists and organizations make to the cultural life of the Salt Lake City community. Four awards are presented to recipients in the following categories: Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Literary Arts and Service to the Arts. Awards are presented by the Mayor at the Utah Arts Festival in June.
Selection Process
Nominees for the MAYOR’S ARTISTS AWARDS will be juried by a panel including representatives from the Office of the Mayor, the Salt Lake City Arts Council, the Utah Arts Festival and past recipients of the Awards.
Submitting Nominations
Nominations must be received by Friday, March 5, 2010.

Supporting materials should address the criteria listed on the Nomination Form and may include a vita or resume, awards and citations, clippings and reviews, and letters of recommendation.
All materials must be submitted on 8 ½ x 11 paper and not exceed 10 total pages.
